From the New Jersey Division of Fish and Wildlife:

Effective 12 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2019, the 2018 Striped Bass Bonus Program closed for individuals and party/charter boats.

Permits issued in 2018 are not valid in 2019.

To ensure eligibility for 2019, please remember:

1) The deadline for submitting logbooks is Jan. 15, 2019.
2) If you harvested a bonus fish in 2018 and did not report it, please submit a harvest report at this time at www.njfishandwildlife.com/sbbp_harvest_reportform.htm. 

Applications for the 2019 SBBP are currently not being accepted.

The N.J. Marine Fisheries Council will make decisions early in 2019 regarding the future of the 2019 SBBP.

The Division will provide information regarding applications for 2019 once a decision is announced.
