It's a start. Hi Flier Sportfishing, Waretown, began reeling in weakfish from Barnegat Bay in late July. Catches started slowly, but more and more bit, and lots of shorts hit, but keepers to 18 and 19 inches were managed. Trips would now grass shrimp for weaks and run to Barnegat Ridge for bonito, albies, mahi and bluefin tuna.
