Florida Fishing Charters

Clearwater/Tampa/Tarpon Springs
Absolute Flats Fishing
Start your day on the beautiful flats of the Gulf of Mexico on Florida’s west coast. Cast light tackle to speckled seatrout, redfish, snook and more. The barrier islands, grass and sand points, turtle grass flats, sand bars, oyster bars, deep holes bumping against mangrove shorelines, creeks and rivers get awfully fishy around here. Swim live baits or throw plugs and lures. Or motor farther from shore for cobia, king mackerel, groupers, snappers and more. Also giant tarpon charters in late April through June in Boca Grande. World famous run of the silver kings 100 to 200 pounds. Something every angler should try in a lifetime. Fishing year-round. 1 to 4 people. Full- and half-day charters. Licenses, bait and tackle included. Multiple tournament wins. Capt. Rich Knox.

The Keys
Captain Easy Charters
Islamorada

Come to the end of the road, the southern-most point in the U.S., and leave the world behind to fish the Florida Keys. Wintertime means sailfishing, peaking in January and February, but also happening in the surrounding months. Winter also brings king mackerel, blackfin tuna, wahoo, sometimes mahi mahi. In March and April fish at the world-famous, offshore Hump for blackfins and amberjacks. Take an evening tarpon trip in spring and summer in calm waters close to port. Or wrestle tackle-busting sharks in the evenings around the same time and waters. Mahi mahi fishing is spectacular as summer approaches, lasting through fall. Also year-round fishing at the reefs for snappers and groupers. 34’ Crusader Sporfisherman.1 to 6 passengers. Experienced anglers or beginners. Capt. Bruce Anderson.
