HawkEye Sonic-Laser Scale

This is a no-brainer.

What is the point of fishing
if you don’t know the size of
the lunker you just pancaked?

There is no point.

So a scale and ruler are
no luxury in the tackle box.

They’re basic, essential.

If you’ve got a HawkEye
Sonic-Laser Scale, even better.

Now you’re in luxury.

The Hawkeye is a handheld, compact, electronic scale with a built-in, patented laser that measures the length of the fish.

Two models are available: the DS900SP with a hook to attach
the fish, and the DS900XP with a grip to hold the fish, especially
to avoid touching the bruiser for catch-and-release angling.

The scale, with a polarized LCD display, weighs fish to 100 pounds, accurate to the closest ounce.

A tare allows the weight to be offset to deduct a fish bag, container or such.

The laser, actually a laser-guided ultrasound, automatically measures the fish’s length.

After attaching the fish to the scale, the angler touches the tail to a solid surface, and the length is displayed on the LCD.

The Sonic-Laser Scale measures 6 inches tall by
2 ½ inches thick, is splash
proof, runs on one 9-volt
battery and comes with
a two-year warranty.

Just kick up the fish's weight and length a few notches when you
tell your friends about your catch, and your trip will be complete.

That's basic too!
