Stonze

Anglers go to pains
to disguise tackle
to fool fish.

They do everything from hiding a hook
in a worm to buying expensive line that’s invisible in the waters.

But what about the
big hunk of lead used as weight on the line?

That can be like an 800-pound gorilla in the room for a fish.

Yet anglers sometimes ignore that fact.

But Pallatrax did not.

The company came out with a variety of weights that look like stones, called the Stonze System.

Here’s a rundown:

Swivel Stonze

Swivel Stonze come with a swivel-eye to attach the line.

They’re available in small, medium and large in both “natural” color and “silt," a darker color.

Boulder Stonze

Boulder Stonze are the same as Swivel Stonze,
but bigger!

They come in one size in either natural or silt.

Back Stonze

With Back Stonze, the line is fed through
the middle of the weight, like a fish-finder rig, allowing the line to move freely through.

They come in one size in either natural or silt.

In-Line Stonze

In-Line Stonze are in-line weights and
come in natural or silt.

Natural comes in medium or large sizes,
and silt comes in small, medium or large.

Each of the different Stonze is unique in size, shape and weight.

But the weight is approximately the same for the given size.

For example, the small size is approximately 1 ounce, and medium is approximately 2 ounces and large is approximately 3.

All Stonze can absorb scents or flavors to attract fish.

Stonze are made from a material that’s environmentally friendly,
the company says, unlike lead weights.
