Freedom Hawk Kayaks

Kayaks are great!

Except when they’re not.

The vessels allow you to fish skinny waters or hard-to-reach areas where
none of the fish is pressured.

But stand up on a ‘yak to cast, and you’ll tumble into the drink, losing your balance.

That’s the the drawback.

Unless it’s a Freedom Hawk Kayak.

Anglers are free to stand on Freedom Hawk Kayaks, because
the vessels feature outriggers that can be folded out for stability.

The outriggers can be folded out in-line -- so the kayak can still be paddled -- or angled for more stability .

The kayaks paddle as well as they fish, and are as stable as a jon boat, the company says.

Three models are available: the Freedom 14,
a 13-foot 10-incher; the Freedom 12, a 12-foot 3-incher; and the Freedom 12 Ultralight, a 12-foot 3-incher that weighs 10 pounds less.

The models, all of them lightweight, are available with features and accessories including: a casting and stabilizing bar that stores recessed in the deck; a push pole that stores in the deck; a paddle holder; flush-mount rod holders; cup holders; recessed storage; watertight in-hull storage; a high-back seat; a motor mount; an anchor; scupper holes with scupper plugs; and more.

Stand up and fish on the only kayak that can be paddled, poled or motored, the company says.
