Coastline Surf System

One of the first things
learned about
surf fishing is to
keep mobile.

Anglers dialed in
to the fish might stay in
one spot successfully, because they know the
fish will come through
on a certain tide.

But more often, finding the fish is key.

That means walking.

How is that possible with all that tackle?

With the Coastline Surf System -- that’s how.

Outdoor writer Al Ristori, in his blog, called it maybe the most unique
product at the Saltwater Fishing Expo
in Somerset, N.J., this March.

The Coastline Surf System is a
backpack for surf fishing, but more.

It’s built for great tackle storage
in an organized arrangement
of bags and pouches

It includes two rod holders that
convert to sand spikes, and features
a telescoping tripod and fold-down
legs to place the pack on the beach high and dry when wanted.

The photos illustrate.

It also includes removable bags,
a utility tube for a gaff, net or lantern,
and a built-in cutting board.

The backpack is made to
be durable, saltwater resistant
and lightweight.

The harness is adjustable
and padded.

That's how to keep testing
new waters.
