Wave Tiki Shadick

Every so often
a lure comes along that holds the attention of anglers more
than others do.

Only one reason:
It catches fish.

New types of
soft-plastic lures are frequently introduced these days.

So if the talk on the waters keeps circulating about one of them, something must be up.

The lure must catch fish.

Word keeps spreading about plastics from Wave Fishing.

Here’s the scoop.

Wave soft plastic lures can be used in freshwater or saltwater to catch a large variety of species from largemouth bass to striped bass.

The lures are meant to impart lively action that mimics injured baitfish,
and are infused with salt and a scent the company calls Molopo,
a licorice scent.

The Tiki Shadick is a popular example of a number of soft plastics the company makes.

Wave Tiki Shadick

Tiki Shadicks feature a ridged, tapered body meant to dart with erratic action. Their body is slit in the bottom to set the hook. Available in 6 or 9 inches and a variety of colors,
they can be rigged in different ways to catch
both freshwater and saltwater fish.

Examples include fishing a Tiki Shadick on a Carolina rig for
largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, pickerel, pike and even catfish.
Or it can be impaled on a jig to land the same species or saltwater
fish like stripers or weakfish. When fished weightless, the lure can be allowed to fall down through the waters in a side to side motion like
an injured baitfish, not straight down like some lures. Surf casters especially fish them as teasers.
