Jan. 11-13 Jan. 25-27 Eastern Sports & Outdoor Show Visit Web Site State Farm Show Complex Harrisburg, Pa. Directions 10-Day Show Hours The Harrisburg Show, as it’s called, is the biggest anywhere in the region, so big that fishing and hunting are featured in separate buildings. Whatever’s included in any other outdoor show is probably displayed here. Buy tickets online, avoid the lines and also get a free subscription to Field and Stream or Outdoor Life. Park at the show, or enjoy free parking and a shuttle bus from Bass Pro Shop. So if you have time, combine your trip with a Bass Pro visit. But you might not have time, once you visit the show! Feb. 6-10 Atlantic City International Power Boat Show Visit Web Site Atlantic City Convention Center Atlantic City, N.J. Directions 5-Day Show Hours This boat show is so big that we almost avoid walking from our booth on one side of the venue to the exhibitor’s lounge on the other side for a cup of coffee. It’s a hike! Almost every possible type of boat is featured: luxury motor and sailing yachts, sport fishers, performance boats, personal watercraft and inflatables. So is a 440-booth Marine Marketplace with marine accessories, marine technology, engines, nautical gifts and more. Attractions include Sea Quest Kids, where children can build a boat and view safe boating and water videos; Adrenaline Jam, with 17 different free video games about water sports; artifacts from the Steel Pier; the N.J. boating test-out exam for $25; and more. A slate of fishing and boating seminars is also included. |

Fishing seminars with the experts, including from The Fisherman magazine, are included each day. The test-out option for the New Jersey Safe Boating Certificate is also offered each day for the state-required $25 fee.
