Just Capt Sr and myself on the boat yesterday, baits in by 5:30 and the
first yellowfin of the season for us hit the deck at 6:00. Tons of action
throughout the day with 26 yellowfin brought to the boat out of 50-60 bites.
Lost some fish due to mutiple hookups and only one angler. We also went 0 for 3
on bigeyes. Two mutiple misses on the bars and one hooked up for about 10 mins.
Saw the fish take the bait 20ft off the transom, easy 5 1/2+ foot fish. Fish
ranged in size from barely legal to 75lbs and everywhere in between. We have
this weekend and plenty of weekday availability for canyon fishing and whatever
