For those of you who don't understand the 3 mile rule on stripers, It pretains to FEDERAL waters (meaning off shore beond the jurisdiction of the state of N.J. If you head 4 miles off Sandy hook in a NW direction, you will be on the wet end of the Romer Shoal,,,,4 miles to the East would put you in the Abrose,,,,$ miles to the south would put you on the southern most tip of the FALSE HOOK,,,,4 miles to the south east would be the only direction that would put you in FEDERAL waters once you got to the Scotladnd bouy which marks the approach to the Sandy hook chanel.... |
