Sailed from Barnegat Inlet yesterday to do a midrange trip. Our spot was covered with green water. We saw blue water on the satellite chart so we kept going and found nice color but no life. After about 2 hours of trolling we headed back to where the blue and green were mixing. As soon as we hit the color change we caught a mahi. Wekept at it and caught some Yellowfins too. All our bites came when we were in that mix nothing in the clean water. If we went to far to the green side we caught bluefish. Late in the day we came in by the 30 line and got a good Bluefin jig bite going on 40 pound cookie cutters in clean green water they were puking up 8 to 12 inch sandeels. It was a tough day alot of running but we got em going in the afternoon
