On Friday the 18th, while fishing alone in about 65 ft of water off Island Beach I hooked a bluefin trolling with a bay rod and 30 lb. braid and fought it for 2 hours 35 minutes until dark when the line broke at the back of the boat within about 4 feet of my gaff.
