Mon. 28. I had a great day on a charter, out of Belmar. In the run out we saw lots of bird life, so we went jigging,Then it was one angler after a other with stripers on. ( some blues in the mix ). It was one of those days that it felt like a Striper Fest. We all box up. Then we slugged away at the tog's. If you had bait in the water you had tog's hitting, had to work for the big ones, but lots of action an fish coming over the railing. went home with a cooler full of fish. this may be a good sign. hope it keeps up.
