It felt more like spring than the first day of winter today. One of the BETTER DAYS of Blackfishing I have seen in a long time.

Back to the dock early. LIMIT FISHING. RELEASING MANY FISH OVER 8LBS. Darren released a 10+ & 14+ and more. Bob started the day off catching his limit by 9am. Keith (9 years old) only his 2nd blackfish trip also had good fishing along with his father Joe. Danny and myself released and caught a lot of fish also.

 If fishing holds up like this we will be fishing well into the winter.

OPEN BLACKFISH: 12/23, 1 spot; 12/24, 3 spots; 12/26, full; 12/30, full: 12/31, 2 spots; Jan 1, 5 spots, 6am leave; $100/person.

OFFSHORE COD TRIP: Jan 2, 2:30AM leave, $225/person, 4 spots left. You don't have to travel north to catch big cod. Only going if weather is good. Will switch to blackfish for those who want, if weather doesn't cooperate.
