Took old Anton fishing at Island Beach State Park Saturday, 12/03/2005. He caught 7 striped bass to 24" on clams, ran out of bait and kept the 24". I caught, tagged and released 6 stripers to 25" with Ultimus jig and Bucktail teaser - 3 on each. Sunday 12/04/2005 took brothers John and Joe fishing at IBSP. John caught and released 3 shorts and Joe caught and released a short. I caught and released a hickory shad and caught, tagged and released 5 stripers to 25" with Ultimus jig and bucktail teaser. 2 on jig and 4 on teaser. 2 slots. Tagged my 400th NJ salt water fish of the year. Got 2 more fish tag returns recently for 12 this year and 190 total. A bluefish that I tagged in Barnegat Inlet 08/24/2005 got caught 11/19/2005 in Delaware State Park, Delaware. Saw a drake Harlequin duck and hundreds of sea ducks. |
