Caught, tagged and released a 27" striped bass at 5:33 PM on a Storm shad in Island Beach State Park on Wednesday December 7, 2005, "a day that will live in infamy". Got 1 hit in 80 casts from 3:48 to 5:57 PM. Brother John broke his rod on a cast. Saw hundreds of sea ducks. Heard a large flock of Canada geese fly south over the ocean at night. Snow is still on the beach. Was very cold and windy.
