Fished briefly during lunchtime just north of the Seaside Casino Pier around 1 o'clock this p.m. and got nothing but saw one guy catch a small striper on something (metal, lure?) with a teaser. Took a peek at Mantoloking on way home and saw a crew surf fishing. Not many other anglers out today. Was a little cold at first but later got brutally windy, cold and icy. Saw birds lookking in the surf but none hit the water, but always saw at least a few birds working farther out. Brutal conditions, but still fishy looking. |
