Sunday 12/11/2005, took 2 old Ukrainians fishing at Island Beach State Park. Saw a short caught on a metal at area 23. Lev caught and released 22" striper on clams. Anton caught 4 skates on clams. I caught, tagged and released 1 short with a Gibbs metal then caught a hickory shad on my next cast with a bucktail teaser. Got 2 hits with 106 casts in 165 minutes. Saw a lot of sea ducks including eiders. Snapped off a Storm shad rig with 30 lb test power pro.
