The tagged striped bass that I caught at Island Beach State Park 01/07/2006 was tagged 09/08/2005 in Greenwich Bay, RI. It grew 2". 07/20/2005 a fisherman caught a 31" 15 lb striped bass at Watch Hill, RI, that I tagged at Island Beach State Park 11/21/2004 at 25" 5 lb. for my 192nd fish tag return. Looks like IBSP and RI are popular with tagged bass. Yesterday I saw a lot of fiddler crabs in the salt marsh near Atlantic City. Also saw a groundhog in a winter wheat field in Pemberton enroute to AC a day after groundhog day. Last week I saw a shrimp in the salt marsh near Ocean City. Saw lots of killies near OC and AC. |
