Went down to South Amboy beach last night and I'll tell you-the bunker were actually jumping on the beach. I was only able to land 1 bass around 18" because the bunker was so thick, my rod was constantly bouncing. My buddy Ronnie caught 3 schoolies and the guy next to him caught 6 schoolies. The guy who landed 6 fish-his last fish he pulled up, 3 bunker jumped onto the beach-funny stuff. I snagged 3 bunker and live lined for about an hour hoping for the 50 pounder-but no luck. I will try a different location tonight and give you an update tomorrow. |
