Hey Donald! Thats great you have just started here...Believe me, you'll learn a lot...Right now, you will probably have the most success fishing for flounder in the back bays and rivers...One of the most productive locations is the Shark River, in Belmar...Many anglers rent boats at the marina, or just fish off the bulkheads and piers, with either being equally as productive...Try the waters near Maclearie Park, where the tennis courts are, or you can try the waters near the Shark River Inlet, farther back behind the bridge...Use light tackle, from six to fourteen pound test line...Bloodworms and Sandworms are most productive for bait...If you need any help with what tackle to use or what location to fish, you can just ask the workers at Fisherman's Den in Belmar...They would be happy to help...Hope this helps! Good luck!
